Promoting Thai investments in India

The government will help Thai investors expand their businesses in India which has high purchasing power.

Caretaker Deputy Prime Minister Somkid Jatusripitak said businesses with good commercial prospects included food and movie production.

Mr. Somkid said the government will try to attract Indian film producers to make movies in Thailand as a way to promote the country’s tourism industry.

He said aside from India, the United States, Russia, Japan, South Korea and Vietnam also are attractive investment markets.

Actually I think this is one of the first sensible comments i've ever heard from a TRT Politician.

With the worlds second largest population and the worlds largest middle class, India is becoming a big player on the world economic market.
