Oliver Banks, the Somerset-based events rigger who died in Cambodia last month, will arrive home on Thursday, June 4.
His family launched the 'Let's Bring Olly Home' fund so that his many friends could be a part of his return.
Oliver, aged 32, had helped set up stages at Glastonbury Festival early in his career as an international rigger.
His parents, Russell, and Caroline, of Coxley, near Wells, were overwhelmed by the response to the fund and said that if more money was raised than is needed it will go directly to help families whom Oliver knew and who are affected by the earthquake in Nepal, his favourite country.

In a post on the Let's Bring Olly Home' Facebook site they say Oliver's return: "is due to all you incredible people that have overwhelmed us with the love and support you have given us. Further arrangements will be made in due course. Please let us know if you wish to attend a festival for Olly?"
Friends have described Oliver as: "an amazing soul", and "a joy and inspiration" and Mr Banks has apid tribute to his son's: "infectious laugh and his incredible generosity."
