Does anyone know if the Chinese Embassy in Bangkok issues Hong Kong visa to Ukrainian on the same day the application is submitted? They do issue Chinese visa on the same day, but their web site implies that the HK visa needs to be approved by HK immigration department.

Anyone has similar experience? BTW, the HK visa application form is 18 pages long!
