Extension before 90 days or v/v

Featured Replies

My 1 year retirement extension ends 10 August, I have to do my 90 day reporting on 29 July (-15 days, +7 days).

I know I can make my new extension 30 days before it expires.

So is it better to do the 1 year extension before or after 90 days reporting.

Thanks

It does matter how you do it.

You could do both of them at the same time to save a trip to immigration.

I agree, and that would be the logical and efficient way to do it.

Unfortunately, not all immigration offices think logically.

Some immigration offices may insist that a 90 day report and a renewal of a Non O extension require two trips, as they are separate things.

Best to check with your local immigration first to see what they want.... to do it all together or two separate trips required.

Hello,

Last year did my 90-day and my extension OA visa the same day, for the 90-day deadline day, and for OA visa, 3 weeks before.

My extension has been taken into account without losing the 3 weeks.

HUA HIN no problem.

Thanks for the help. I will just do my 90 days online (as before) and then later do my extension
