In the Bangkok area, most outpatient clinics are located within hospital compounds. The sort of stand alone clinic/doctor practice you have in mind, is not the norm here. There are stand alone labs, but these do not have doctors on staff to review your results with you and advise. Within central Bangkok there are some clinics but these mainly do check ups and health certificates or else specialize in things like cosmetic procedures or STIs...and are some distance from Rangsit. Most medications in Thailand -- including for hypertension and diabetes -- do not require a prescription, you just buy at pharmacy. Likewise, you do not need a doctor's order to get blood work at a stand-alone lab here. But, except for check up packages, you would need it to get blood work at most hospitals. So how best to proceed really depends on whether you are looking for a doctor to oversee your care at very frequent intervals, or just for periodic labs and medications and perhaps infrequent doctor consultation when/if results vary from your norm.
