I am sent out by the corporation i work for to manage and improve security teams and procedures. Most for retail stroes to lower loss due to employee or customer theft.

Though i am qualified to run teams for hotels or casinos.

I also can be a bodyguard, in the US anyways including carrying a firearm.

Good day All

Not wanting to start a new thread but had a similar question. Perhaps Soutpeel can help as he works in the Oil and Gas industry.

Where can subsurface professionals network and find a job in Thailand? I tried the Society of Petroleum Engineers and Geological Society websites but no luck. No upcoming conference either. I recently lost my job in the Middle East (office politics) and looking for something to occupy myself for a year. Others in the company want me back but there needs to be a cooling off period as my ex-Team Leader has been promoted to Manager (office politics) and no one wants to cause any disturbance... I am a development/ops geologist and worked as operations TL. Also I have done my MBA and doing a doctorate. A generalist with 20 years five countries experience. looking for something either directly geology or subsurface business related (mergers, acquisitions, divestitures).

We moved back to Thailand as my wife is Thai and our house is here . I have been looking around but several jobs list for local only. Having a modified local package (schooling and housing) would be nice but meeting people seems to be a bit ad hoc as I do not live in Bangkok. Tried direct calling but HR mentions send in your CV but do not expect much.

Any help in this direction would be nice. Thanks in advance.

I will send you a few contacts on PM, but be warned, with the slump going on, slash and burn on costs, and there is not a lot of hiring going on.
