1. Buy the property on my (Thai) wife's name.

2. Incorporate a company that leases from the property from her for 30 years (+30+30).

Makes any sense? If we some day breakup, will the lease hold?

Not an expert.....but from what I understand ....You CAN do a 30 year lease which is then recorded at the land office and therefor binding for the whole 30 years.

the other 30 + 30 extensions....NOT valid.

But to be sure ...Go to "ask the lawyer" section and see what they think.

Also be aware ...."Its easy to buy property in Thailand.....NOT so easy to sell."

It may be better to start a new thread there with a revised question taking into account BP's post.
