A DOGS BEDTIME PRAYER

now i lay down to sleep

the kingsized bed is soft and deep

i sleep right in the center grove

my human beings can hardly move

ive trapped their legs,their tucked in tight

and here is where i pass the night

no-one disturbs me or dares intrude

till morning comes and i want food

i sneak up slowly to begin

and nibble on my humans chin

for mornings here its time to play

i always seem to get my way

so thank you lord for giving me

these human persons that i see

the one's who hold me tight

and shares their bed at night.
