I would like to know if there are any English speaking stations in pattaya area that i can tune into like the BBC world service

thanks

Usually there are English channels but since the coup the whole thing has been in disarray. There was a brief return to partial normality a few months ago, but it didnt last.

One option might be a 3/4G phone package and a Bluetooth or cable connection from your smartphone/tablet to your car stereo. With this you could get internet radio from anywhere in the world, including all the BBC channels and some local channels. I know someone who does this regularly to listen to BBC R2 as he drives to the north. Nearly as good as being on the M1. smile.png

hahaha ooh the M1? lovely

thought bbc world service would be on but cant find it

okay thanks will give this a try once i sort out a phone contract. cheers for the advice

Yes the English language radio stations are still waiting for their licences to be renewed , however, they can be accessed online via an app or just online radio.

hows this, assuming you have a decent data package on your phone or tablet, down load an app...called "Tunein" and you can listen to radio stations all over the world, including loads of "local" stations in the UK, then assuming you have an Aux input on the car stereo system, plug your phone or tablet into that and listen to it through the car system...that's what I do...works great apart from a occasional loss in signal
