New one to me :o

No, she does not have to go to Laos; however in the current climate it will not do your application any harm I feel if you take her along with your baby. Congratulations by the way!

She should not have to travel but I would take a full packet of paperwork just to be sure. Money/photos/passport plus:

1. Marriage certificate.

2. Birth certificate.

3. Copy of wife ID card.

4. Copy of wife home register.

5. Short letter from wife saying you are together or some such thing.

6. Bank account passbook.

You probably will not need it all (especially 4,5,6) but good to have in case someone is having a bad day.

You do not say what kind of visa you have at the moment.

If it is a 2 month Tourist Visa you can convert this at the local immigration office in Thailand.

Your wife will need to be present for that.

A photo or two of you both with the baby will also help. :o
