Just had a baby girl (2 months) dont fancy taking her 2 Laos. Find it hard to believe some of the rules these people make up! Any helps appreciated. baboon Posted September 16, 2006 Share Posted September 16, 2006 No, she does not have to go to Laos; however in the current climate it will not do your application any harm I feel if you take her along with your baby. lopburi3 Posted September 17, 2006 Share Posted September 17, 2006 She should not have to travel but I would take a full packet of paperwork just to be sure. Money/photos/passport plus: 1. Marriage certificate. 2. Birth certificate. 3. Copy of wife ID card. 4. Copy of wife home register. 5. Short letter from wife saying you are together or some such thing. 6. Bank account passbook. astral Posted September 17, 2006 Share Posted September 17, 2006 You do not say what kind of visa you have at the moment. If it is a 2 month Tourist Visa you can convert this at the local immigration office in Thailand. Your wife will need to be present for that. A photo or two of you both with the baby will also help.
