Free weights new or preferably used

Featured Replies

I went to Big C and saw they charged a little under 1800 baht for a single adjustable dumbbell with 14 total kilograms of weight (including the dumbbell itself). That's a bit on the expensive side.

Back home nothing fell in value faster than weights. You could get them for 30% of retail on Craigslist. Bahtsold..com doesn't seem to have many weights for sale in Pattaya though.

Does anyone know a better place to find used weights? I'm also looking for new in case I can't find used.

Try the Sports Shop (name ???) - Central.

I purchased some in CNX.

SuperSports. Nothing cheap there either and not much choice in free weights.

Google 'gymware bangkok'.

Gym/fitness equipment is expensive in Thailand. You will not find a better price.

If you want to start seriously lifting you will need more than adjustable dumbbells.

Consider join a gym in Pattaya. It's farang city, so many to choose from.

Try machines before you join, farangs usually don't fit in Thai branded stuff.

I'm thinking what can you actually do with 14kg dumbbells?

Warm up for freaking flies?

Good luck, bro ...
