Prayut tells Bangkok taxi drivers not to strike

All I know is I have lived in Bangkok for the last 25 years. Last Saturday I tried to get a taxi from Suk Soi 4 to Ekamai. Was told 300 - 500 baht (many times). Walked to Soi Cowboy finally got a taxi home 65 baht. Never seem the drivers the way they were other than when Bangkok was burning some years back. Could not get a motor bike taxi or taxi, they only wanted to drink and fight.

What a ridiculous world we live in, to base overall consumer satisfaction on a mobile app. Most people only use these to complain and rarely to laud good service. If I had to rate my Bangkok taxi experiences, it would be over 90% positive. I don't frequent the airport or the areas where most problems are reported, but then neither do most of the decent taxi drivers. Instead of punishing the majority of good drivers for the actions of the bad, how about doing your jobs and taking the drivers against whom frequent complaints are proved off the road.
