Yes, still there, but it is not a full-service office like the one in Phuket Town. Whether it is suitable for your needs depends on what you wish to get done. I imagine it would not be very busy during low season. Maybe avoid Monday and Friday, and go mid-morning. It is open for fewer hours each day than the one in Phuket Town.

If it's a 90-day report, you could do it online and if it works, save yourself a trip.

It has to be within the area serviced by the immigration office where you apply. Which would be all of Phuket province in this case.

Very easy and efficient as of one week ago. Only 3 people in the place.

Arrived at 11 am and out at 11.05 am. This for 90 day report.

For a Tourist Visa extension no hotel receipt is required.

Use the hotel address with room number if requested. (phuket town request this)

You can't renew a tourist visa, only buy a extension for a month. (If you have a 60 day tourist visa)

As long you have a valid visa immigration doesn't care how many extensions you do and where.
