90 days in Thailand

Featured Replies

Hi,

I'll be spending ninety two days in Thailand (I'm Canadian) next high season, and will get a 60 day single visa and then apply for an extension at Immigration.

But Can I ask for a 32 day extension - or is it just 30 - or would I have to go to say Myanmar to get another 15 days near the end if I got say a 30 day extension only?

(I won't bother with the 180 day retirement visa this time around - I don't think..)

I'm not trying to save money, just potential hassle..had it before a few times..

Any other visa or border run options? I'll be in Phuket a fair bit.

Thanks very much for your kind timewai.gif

You can only get a 30 day extension.

You can pay for 2 day of overstay at 500 baht a day on departure from the country or you could apply for a 7 day extension for a fee of 1900 baht.

Canadians get 30 days at a border crossing (G7 country rule)

There is no visa based upon retirement that will give you 180 day stay.
