Though it is not clear if it is a transparent proxy server or anonymous server. If craiglist uses a block list then Crossy's comment may be correct. Or has there been a formal complaint from a Thai authority (threatening to close down the whole site)? Seems like they have cut/closed/deleted a whole group of categories for the Bangkok version. But, if it's available in the US and not immediately available via VPN then it takes some tweaking in VPN options.
