I flew back to the UK a few days ago for a holiday and I'm not panicing yet about my return to Koh PhaNgan.

I am a bit worried I can't get hold of the one friend who's phone number I can remember. Rings but no answer. Has anyone else in the UK been able to call out?

Very soon CNN & BBC will be just blue screens. Happened last time (1992).

The wife just got a call from her friend. Saying no one will be able to go out tomorrow.ie no work. Its kicking off! Any more news?

Mobile networks here are probably being used to overcapacity or purposely cut, can't call anyone locally.
