PHNOM PENH (Khmer Times) – China has donated three Toyota Hilux Vigo trucks, one minibus Toyota Coaster and 45 Ascend P7 Huawei mobile phones to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

“This equipment will be useful and helpful for the ministry to improve services,” Chinese Ambassador Bu Jianguo said at the handover ceremony yesterday.

“We always trust each other, understand each other, learn from each other, support each other and help each other,” Ms. Jianguo said of the relationship between Cambodia and China, the largest foreign investor and donor here.

Chinese Corners opened in Cambodia to boost language learning

PHNOM PENH, July 14 (Xinhua) -- The Confucius Institute of the Royal Academy of Cambodia on Tuesday launched Chinese Corners at the Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts and the Royal University of Fine Arts.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Cambodian Culture and Fine Arts Minister Phoeurng Sackona said Chinese is a very popular language in the world.

"These Chinese Corners will give opportunities to ministry officials and students to learn and practise Chinese with native speakers and to discover more about Chinese culture and tradition, " she said.
