Getting prescription for Sidegra/Viagra

Featured Replies

Hey everyone,

I've heard horrorstories of policemen waiting to ''catch'' buyers of Kamagra (under the counter) at pharmacies.
And I've heard that the possession of Sidegra/Viagra without a prescription is in fact illegal in Thailand.

There's now this pill named Sidegra. Which is a Thai alternative of the Viagra pill. It seems there are 250 locations to officially get it or get it prescribed.

I wonder: where can I get a prescription for this drug (and how much would that cost me?), and where can I get these pills?
Also, what would a prescription for Cialis cost me, and what would the pills cost?

Im just 23 but having great issues with my precious p. I won't want to risk ending up in a Thai jail, or getting caught by Thai police in any way. That's why I really want a prescription for it.

Kr,
Youger

Getting a script for either drug will cost you anywhere form 200 -1,000 baht+ depending on doctor and hospital.

In prior threads in this forum you can find costs of Sidegra. It will certainly be much less than Viagra. Most pharmacies carry it inc. Boots, Watsons etc, at least in tourist areas.

The main problem you will have is with hospitals/clinics wanting you to get the drug at their pharmacy which will cost 2-3 times more. Be sure to clearly state you want a prescription to fill at an outside pharmacy when you see the doctor.

Sidegra is widely available at most Pharmacy's. It is a Thai product. Price ranges from 280baht to 400 baht for a box of four. Viagra, the real stuff from Pfiser, is very expensive, from 1800baht to 2000baht for a box of four. Kamagra, made in India, is available anywhere on the street by the vendors that come by every 1 minute. 700 baht to 1000 baht for a box of 50 packs.. Get to know the vendors that are there day after day for years. They sell the real stuff, not a ineffective copy.

Just an idea, but perhaps being only 23 years old you might want to explore other medical options, ones that are less temporary.

Maybe Sheryl can provide suggestions on this aspect?

Slightly off topic ,but I read an article recently that 20 percent of men taking viagra etc are prone to contact melanoma

. Has anyone have further info on this..

One study did show a correlation between Viagra use and a slight increase in melanoma, but nothing conclusively linking the two. There are so many factors that could skew the results such as Viagra users' age and lifestyle.

It's easy to be misled by statistics from "studies" so you need to be careful where you get your info from. Reputable universities that do medical research and places like Mayoclinic.org are a good place to start.

The OP are saying it true, to have it without a prescription it's illegal, especially if they catch you with this medication & the policemen, do know well the laws, he make you in troubles for sure, if you don't have it. I think the best it's to got a prescription always with you, & scan it also into your mail, we never know, if they got your prescription ( and lose it !!! ) if you can go the small Thai clinic.. they will provide it to you. for 100 - 200 bahts normally, it will cover you to any troubles from theses law.. especially now it's martial law in Thailand they can make a small troubles a big nightmare for you ! just be always safe then & don't be worries, because it's happened often a police descent & check your bags, & stuffs ! yah so have more fun in safe way !
