PATTAYA: -- In the early hours of Friday Police and medics were called to a suspected case of road rage on Jomtien Second Road which left a Thai man in a semi-conscious condition.

The incident occurred outside of the Cube Resort and left the man with head and upper-body injuries. Police were not able to ascertain his name but he is thought to be aged in his twenties.

Only five against one this time. Brave of them.

Getting to be really dangerous out there. These five guys would of kicked the heck out of anybody not in uniform.

I'm sure they'll make every effort to track those responsible down and "negotiate" suitable compensation for the victim.

Let's hope they get these guys... But having said that does it really matter ? 500 baht fine and don't do it again ....

If you slap someone a 500 baht fine might apply but this is likely to incur more penalties than that and even jail time is possible.

I still feel very safe going any place around town,

but for sure we have a lot more lawless young Thai guys around in packs on Bikes or in Cars

would say at the weekends it's packs of guys down for fun around town from Bangkok. and a few more young bike gangs around now days in the Jomtien area, than a few years back.

Its a shame pattaya / Jomtien has started to attract the Bangkok crew for the last couple of years on the weekends. sad.png
