Lite Beer Posted July 18, 2015 Share Posted July 18, 2015 NLA holds forum in KanchanaburiKANCHANABURI, 18 July 2015 (NNT) – Members of the National Legislative Assembly (NLA) visited Kanchanaburi Province to call a brain-storming session with local people.The team, led by NLA member Peerasak Porchit, was tasked with clarifying doubts about the province’s economic and social directions and collecting information and suggestions from residents.The main issues included problems raised by the development of the special economic zone, land encroachment by influential figures, water shortages and the troubled transport between Kanchanaburi and Phu Nam Ron, environmental management and the growing number of refugees.The visit of NLA members also prompted a gathering of more than 150 people from different districts. dictater Posted July 19, 2015 Share Posted July 19, 2015 Upset peoples livelihoods, are totally unnecessary in most of the areas where things like road widening is going on in others seem to be happening in order to give the hoards who descend from BKK each weakened more room to race their 4x4's and Mercedes. Meanwhile where is reason for this tremendous building boom? Is it the road to Tavoy that been coming for 15 years or the much whispered about high speed rail? I hope there is some reason for developers to be continually clear cutting the banks of the Yai and noi cause it aint to house tourists, all they would have to do is look up and down the river at the other 200 empty resorts to realize that. Oh well in ten years when there's no tree's left and all the wildlife is dead at least the water will be clear for jet-ski's and banana boat rides. Kan Win Posted July 21, 2015 Share Posted July 21, 2015 The By-Pass has been widened also in some parts and more to come, well as BIG TRUCKS are not allowed going into Kan Town, are they. Good, now it is time for the Kan Province as a whole to be upgrade, basically, it's roads and about time too. Next, lets get an upgrade from TAT to fill up some of the empty rooms that are here.
