Khun Mae Laor Market (or Me La Aor Market?) is a market on Soi Wat Bun Kanchana, Jomtien. This area seems like a nice place to stay in, that's why I'm wondering about this market. Can anyone tell me more about it? What are they selling, is it only fresh food or can you also order meals there? And if what food do they sell, traditional thai food like khao man gai, grilled fish etc. Is the market big and how are the price levels?

Used to be called the Afternoon Market several years ago, when Rompho was the Morning Market. They have cooked meals there at the back, including a place serving Farang food a la Thai Style, but good value.

Mostly the market sells all the usual fruit and veg, plus meat and fish. Prices are quite good and food is very fresh.

IMO the best market for prices is the huge new one beside the Coliseum on Theprassit. It's massive.

Sorry, my info was slightly confusing. The food stalls are at the back, but closer to beach, beyond the car park beside the market.
