arrive penang consulate

bus from comtar has changed it is now 1-1. tell driver: saya berenti thai consulate (rm1), many speak english...walk backwards to jln brow, to traffic light, left and follow around the bend.

get there early but gates open at 9. expect a FLOOD of people. MAY BE RAINING BIG TIME.

SINGLE ENTRY ONLY, do not change money for double/triple. do not even ASK. "IT IS THE NEW RULE"....plus there has been a COUP so dont be a moron.

to leave get out on jln mcallisatar and head toward comtar - or if you ar elazy not walk - taxi is rm10 if you can spk malay a bit.

collection: 2pm - you can make it minibus to hatyai 3-4 if you take a taxi back

PS: BOMBS IN HAT YAI ---- very near cathay gh killing 4. i crossed same day and it was madness. also ...only LOSERS pay b20 for reentry so speak thaai to immmigration!
