rijb
6 scans, in addition to the x-ray scan? Does that mean 'eye' scans, pat-downs, or Star Trek tri-corder readings?

DoctorG
You do not need 6 scans. Do it once - properly.
Partenavia
Who on earth gives them these ideas? Absolute stupidity. Whoever thought this up doesn't have two brain cells to rub together. Go to Singapore or Hong Kong and see how its done properly.
Veeke
Can't we have a middle path - a sensible way to ensure safety? No respect for time of people? No concern for public resources in expanding safety personnel?
Kannikapor88
They really like to "Overact" here - 6 scans no less ... maybe 2-3 thorough scans could do it unless the passenger is a Hi-So General police officer that is above the law and have an IQ of 25 ... Even if they should do the 6 scans it will only last a few days - Consistency is not their greatest strenghts to say the least ...

Bardeh
I can't see this ever happening as they've outlined it here. The security checks at Chiang Rai (once upon entrance of the terminal and then once before you enter the departure lounge) are plenty enough, as long as the people performing those checks are doing their job properly. One of the things that's great about flying from Mae Fah Luang is that it's never too hectic and never stressful. If they really do go ahead with this plan, I'd expect that to change for the worse and it would be a shame.
