Good tailor.

  • 3 weeks later...

Was recommended O.Tailor near Tukcom.

Oredered 2 pairs of shorts and took a pair for them to copy. 1000 b x2.

The workmanship was good but the material for both is rubbish.I washed before I wore and there is no visible crease. The material is very heavy and collects any fluff in the machine which is almost impossible to remove.

In fairness they showed me some materials to choose from [small squares] but I would expect any decent tailor to know his cloth...I am not an expert and in London I would trust my tailor not to have blanket cloth in stock.

These will Never hold a crease for more than half a day.

Any other recommendations would be appreciated.

I always use "Dave's"

He is on top of "Indian by Nature" restaurant, on Thepraja.

Large selections of material. And he knows his stuff, tell him what you need and he will recommend the correct material ...

Good Luck !

O Tailor - very good although a little slower than the indian ones. O Tailor make the stuff themself in the shop whereas the indian ones all take them to the tailors at Tukcom.

If you have a pair you want to be copied, it would be a simple cheap job to buy some material (on the Tukcom rd there are a few shops) and then walk further along to the sewing houses and get them made there. Cut out the middle man.
