Cameron Visit

So, our illustrious PM is on a 'whistle stop' visit to the region. Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore and Vietnam. However, he is not coming to the 'hub'. Wonder why?. Political or simply trade with Thailand not important.?

David Cameron says business deals worth more than £750m ($1.2bn) will be made during his tour of South East Asia.

Mr Cameron is to be accompanied by 31 UK business leaders on the trade mission, which starts in Indonesia.

The UK prime minister says he wants to forge links with the area's rapidly growing markets for British goods and services during his four-day trip.

As much as I think that Cameron is a 1st degree @ss.

I would like to think that this is a little bit of forward planning, in preparation for a UK exit of the EU.

I would like to think that this is a little bit of forward planning, in preparation for a UK exit of the EU.

....or, to persuade the EU top knobs to give him more concessions before the referendum. It's just another junket. These trade agreements he's going to sign have already been agreed.

Such a pity he chose not to visit Thailand, as we expats might have got together, to welcome him in an appropriate fashion ! wink.png
