Teaching assistant job for daughter?

Featured Replies

Hi All,

My 18-year-old daughter who just graduated from Manhattan International High School in NYC just moved back to one of the local villages around Kanthaylak and is looking for work. She speaks English fairly well, got all B's or A's in 12th Grade, and has some experience assisting teachers with ESL students. She is applying to Tesco Lotus but I thought that she might be able to find a teacher's assistant job. Anyone know of a school that might hire her? Thanks.

My suggestion would be to send her to Uni to get a Bachelors degree if she really wants to be a teacher. usually the teaching assistant positions are taken up by Uni interns, at least in every school I have worked at.

What? The interns are at schools for a relatively short period of time, to learn the practical side of teaching, before they become "real teachers."

OP, please get in touch with Mr. Tongbai, he's got a language school and almost everybody in Kantharalak knows him.

P.S Perfect for the little ones.

Good luck.
