If you really have to ask then maybe Benidorm is the right choice for you

Depends on what you prefer: cheap alcohol or cheap women.

The climate isn't so humid there, only issue I have with Thailand is the humidity. Everything else is better here.

im a little put off by the fact that benidorm sounds suspiciously like something you would use to treat a yeast infection.

other than that it can really be worse than pattaya, can it?

Every year I leave Pattaya and go on my hols to Benidorm

For Europeans, flights are cheaper for Benidorm.

I don't think the yoof of Britain are aware of Pattaya, or even there aren't any attraction for the younger British crowds here in Pattaya

no hesitation.... Benidorm is much "cleaner" (all meanings).... and i don't speak about the statistics about "suicides" and deadly "accidents" ... i let you guess

Benidorm is full of old, widowed ladies looking for love/security. Pattaya is full of nubile young women looking for the same. In Pattaya, age is venerated and women consider themselves subservient to men. In Benidorm women have opinions and consider themselves equal/superior to men. Wine is cheaper in Benidorm, in Pattaya beer is cheaper and you get to drink it in air-conditioned places with a lovely on your knee.

You can own your own home in Benidorm unless you've been scammed & it was built on land without permits. In Pattaya you can rent cheaply. The Benidorm climate is better than in Pattaya and there is less risk of malaria/dengue.

Where Benidorm really has the edge over Pattaya is in the dog department - there are virtually no yapping, polluting, accident-causing, biting wastes-of-oxygen unlike in Pattaya where dozens of diseased canines menace humans.
