Hi,

The contract with my company expires early next year and am planning to

look for a new job then.

I know I must cancel the extension of my Non-B and then go to one of the

Thai Embassies or Consulates to apply for a new Non-B under the new

employer. What should I do with my WP then? Will I have to cancel it as

well and have a new WP or can I still use the same WP for the new job?

Thank you in advance.

As said your WP permit will need to be canceled.

With some planning and with cooperation of you current employer it is possible to change jobs without leaving the country for a new non-b.

Hi,

Thanks for your info.

Hi ubonjoe,

I might make this happen.

Let's say my contract expires on Jan. 31 2016. What should I do for a new Non-B

without even leaving the country?

Thank you.

Have your new employer apply for your work permit and get a work permit application approval letter and have the documents prepared required for an extension of stay (not a visa) prior to your last day of work. Then apply for a new extension when your current one is canceled.

Hi ubonjoe,

Thank you for the info.

Sounds even easier than to get both my Non-B & WP cancelled,

leave the country for a new Non-B and come back to Thailand

for a new WP and visa extension.

What I have to do is have the new employer apply for a new WP

first and get all the documents ready including a WP application

approval letter and a termination letter from my employer to apply

for a new extension at the immigration office, right?
