JAG
Now, having got your attention chaps and chapesses, does anybody know of a shoe repairer in Chang Rai? I need rubber soles and heels putting on a couple of pairs of decent leather soled shoes. I know I could do it myself, but they would end up looking like Charlie Chaplains boots! Thank you. sceadugenga
And was was wrong with Charlie Chaplin's boots? I had some sandals repaired in the main market a few years back. You would need to ask around to find the place.
Randell
If you circle Overbrook hospital you will find a cobbler in the back on the corner of one of the intersections. I have had many shoes satisfactorily repaired there at reasonable cost

" Children's skipping rhyme from the 1920s. May well have originated in Australia.
Ebenezer
The one I have always used is a guy who has a stall in Bandu. He is based at the bottom of the footbridge on the opposite side of Bandu market. I have always found him to be very friendly, helpful and inexpensive.
