Not that this has anything to do with flights from OZ, but I recieved an email confirmation from Thai International reservations in BKK on 16 September that my international flight departing from Athens to BKK on 2 October will land in Suvarnabhumi on 3 October. So it does look like most international flights are switching. By the way the travel agent here still shows it going to terminal 1 in Don Muang.
