Ranong NRC member guilty of cheating senatorial election
The Nation

BANGKOK: -- The Supreme Court has found Sakda Sriwiriyapaibul, the National Reform Council member representing Ranong, guilty of cheating the senatorial election in Ranong in 2014.

The Supreme Court's Election Division banned Sakda from holding political position for five years, counting from Thursday when the court made the ruling.

The court ruled that Sakda violated the MPs and Senators Election act and Political Party Act of 2007 by distributing calendars with the logo of Democrat Party and picture of Democrat MPs for Ranong at that time to voters after a royal decree was issued on February 26 2014 to set the senatorial election date .

The court found that the distribution of the calendars led Ranong voters to believe that Sakda was backed by the Democrat in his quest for the Ranong senatorial seat. He won the senatorial election on March 30 that year.

The court did not order Sakda to vacate his NRC seat as he was appointed by a coup order.

Yes, there is a big difference between Democracy and an appointment by a coup order ,it is now up to Prime Minister Prayut - O - Cha to show some back bone and act accordingly, enough said.coffee1.gif

They're all the same.....elected members....military members.....or appointed......rotten to the core and they all believe it's ok............

One day, hopefully, they will ............ah..never mind.....they're just as**&les anyway!!
