FredNL
So what's up next? North Korean nuclear power plants in Thailand ??? North Korean submarines for Thailand ??? North Korean tourists ??? Edited August 11, 2015 by FredNL
Srikcir
What exactly does North Korea have to offer, other than countrfeit currency or illegal drugs? Nuclear energy generation technology. Offer it in barter for agricultural products. Maybe throw in a nuclear explosive device to help nations fear Thailand.
Srikcir
"The Thai foreign minister also indicated that he would support discussions among ASEAN member countries regarding the DPRK’s request to become ASEAN’s dialogue partner." I'm sure that will enamor ASEAN trade partner South Korea with whom North Korea has maintained a state of war and more than 50 years of military hostilities. geriatrickid
Thaksin's nefarious dealings with the North Koreans, through Loxley, are detailed here. http://www.atimes.com/atimes/Korea/HE26Dg02.html Thaksin's ownership interest in Loxley is discussed here. http://asiancorrespondent.com/27179/who-owns-loxley/ A yes, a thread isn't complete without the usual poopy reference to Thaksin. [CENSORED .jpg] Newsflash: Thaksin hasn't been PM since 19-September 2006. You shopuld find another excuse to justify the Thai military's relations with a pariah state that is sanctioned by the UN, EU, USA, South Korea, Taiwan, and Japan. Psst. Want to know a not so secret, secret? Japan, South Korea and Taiwan are more important to Thailand's economy than potential money laundering, drug trafficking and sanction busting transactions with North Korea. ldiablo
Its hilarious how certain posters on here can't comment without bringing up Thaksin or the redshirts. Thaksin this, Thaksin that, redshirts did this, redshirts did that. Get over it and move along to something a bit more constructive.
