Heart Guard

Featured Replies

I give my dog Heart Guard every month.

I read on the package it controls other types of worms also

My question is, Is the Heart Guard enough, or should the dog have additional medication for worms as well?

i give mine heart-guard,but as for worms if i see any i would rather the vet give him an injection.or when he has his mixed vacine,eg.distemper,parvo,hepatitis.

you should be able to spot if your dog has worms by checking his poop.

Ask your vet this question, Zlodnick. He may recommend Ivermec (or the pill form, En-Dec), or something else to cover worms and various internal and external parasites.

I want my dogs to be fully protected, but I'm also anxious that they're not over-medicated.
