PM says he has no grudges against his former ministers

BANGKOK: -- Prime Minister Prayut Chan-ocha said Thursday he had no personal grudges against any of his ministers who were to be removed from the new cabinet and they could always give a helping hand.

He made the above remark before the official announcement of the new cabinet late Thursday afternoon.

Asked to comment about outgoing deputy prime minister Pridiyathorn Devakula’s refusal to accept the advisory post, the prime minister said it was the former’s decision to accept or not to accept his offer. He said he still respected Pridiyathorn even if the latter might be angry with him.

The prime minister maintained that he treated every member of his cabinet equally and did not tell any of them in advance about the cabinet reshuffle. He said he was not angry with any of his former ministers.

Admitting that his new cabinet is not perfect, the prime minister, however, said that the new cabinet must work harder otherwise they might be subjected to heavy criticism.

He should have, as many pulled the wool over the countries eyes!!

I wonder if the feeling is mutual?

Just as well for them, as he has unfettered power over their lives - and every other person in Thailand..................

He may have no grudge against them, they however....

Likely it was Pridiyathorn's “divide and rule” system that interferred with any effective economic policies made by Mininsters of Finance and Commerce.

He was only being loyal to Prayut's flawed economic leadership. But maybe Prayut could have used some honest opinion instead of a military "aye-aye sir."

Well, that's nice. It's like a Thai Lakorn right now at the top of the government.

You had your chance

You used resources against the people to stop them speaking out. Whilist the people that were smart and saw your personal egenda on Thaksin and former opposers, waited and why you were busy playing power games within the country

They used the opprtunity... Your resources should have been in place to proetect not attack . Your people are not the war buddy

My opinion wrong man for the job. He should stand down. Army maybe so although he is not a politician

he is certainly no diplomat!
