PATTAYA: A 9 year old boy was left alone in his Mother’s home and was lucky to escape with his life after a fire took-hold in the kitchen, which is located next to the young boy’s bedroom, where he was sleeping at the time.

Police and firefighters were called to the house located at the Raviporn Place Estate in East Pattaya on Friday afternoon. The boy ended up in the care of neighbours and eventually Khun Naninpa aged 28 and her Belgian boyfriend returned to survey the damage caused.

Kid was pbly beaten by the mother for not putting the fire out, as soon as the bill comes in for the Fire dept and the repairs estimate, the Belgique is pbly history.

Silly woman, should not leave a child alone, nor leave something unattended on the gas ring. I also would not like the idea of the gas cylinder being kept inside the kitchen.

It would surprise me if the cylinder ruptured, but pipework or the regulator could leak gas into the kitchen, or rupture/ blow off.

Kid could have been burned and/or killed.

Party on people.

Just leave the kids at home, and enjoy yourselves at the bar/ eating / shopping.

The kids will be fine, as long as they can put out a chip pan fire, or possibly even stop a vicious attack from a knife weilding maniac.

Sick, sick, sick, but unfortunetly all too common an occurance for kids to be left alone in Thailand.

I hope the mom and BF have to pay out a load of money for repairs to the house Etc, which will still probably be cheaper than funeral expenses.

I hope the child remembers what a loving caring mom he has when he is older and she needs his help.

Her Belgian boyfriend should teach her something about kitchen safety.
