PATTAYA: -- On Monday the owner of a Phone Shop in South Pattaya appealed for help from the local media to publicize the recent theft of two Smart Phones and a Tablet from her shop.

The AT Phone Shop is owned by Khun Gitapar aged 42 and she told us that on Sunday afternoon at 1pm a Thai man, described as “fat” and very dark skinned arrived at her shop by motorbike and inspected a number of phones and tablets.

He told the owner that he would return later and was fairly certain he would purchase three phones from her. The man returned at 5.30pm and asked to make a final inspection on a new Samsung A7 Smart Phone and a second-hand version of the same phone, along with a second-hand Samsung Note, with a combined value of 28,700 Baht.

Same as One Iphone 6 then?

I suppose this is why gold shops have locks on the doors.

Remarkable that the CCTV pic is clear. Quite remarkable !

Compared with what ? This was in bright daylight and the camera was only a few feet away from the suspect. In the Erawan bombing the CCTV cameras were far away and it was starting to get dark .

Just to compare. wai2.gif
