August 29, 201510 yr Where can I download English language movies with Thai subtitles? With all the DVD bootlegs on the streets it's odd that torrents are not more easily found.
August 30, 201510 yr I agree, certainly for films of a good quality. I have not found a single good source for Thai subtitles. So I download the film and Google for the subtitles in the form of a small srt file i.e. in the search box I put “avatar srt file thai” (change avatar with the name of film you are looking for). Most smart TV’s play srt files, just make sure it is named the same as the film i.e. avatar.mp4 / avatar.srt
August 30, 201510 yr Author It would be great to have access to the repository that creates all the bootlegs on the streets. It seems like a well protected secret, but hard to imagine all those pontip plaza kind of sellers don't have online access. Anyone know the scoop?

Those bootlegs have computer generated subs that are grossly inaccurate translations. Ask any Thai your watching them with. The subs are worthless.
August 30, 201510 yr Kron is correct. Here are some sites I download subs from. http://www.thaisubtitle.com/manage/subtitle.php http://www.opensubtitles.org/th http://subscene.com/ http://www.subtitleseeker.com/ This software is helpful for syncing subs due to varying frame rates. http://www.free-codecs.com/download/vobsub.htm With this media player you can sync the subs directly. http://daumpotplayer.com/download/
