Im seeing these on line for 3-4000 bhat ( Ebay) USA.

Anybody know the price of this phone or similar units NEW and USED in Bangkok?

Is it dodgey to buy a used one here?

I don't know about the 6310I, my recommendation for a cell phone, new, is the 6630, can be bought around 9600 baht.

What specifications do you need apart from Bluetooth? Does it have to be Nokia?

I don't know the model, but Nokia had a nice phone a while back with a rubber case, designed to take the knocks.

Might have been a Nokia 5100, designed more for water-resistance rather than surviving high G's.

There is a brand new model, Nokia 5500 Sport, which is pretty feature rich, and designed to survive "knocks", although a bit pricey, ~ 12,000 THB.

For the OP, it might be easiest to just go walk around the 4th floor at MBK to look for a 6310i. It won't take long to find some, if that model was luanched in Thailand, and gauge the market, both new and used. Iw as looking for a Nokia 6100 recently, used, but found many counters had new models still available.

Otherwise maybe it would be best to buy on eBay?
