China Invests US$3.8 Billion in Cambodia’s Koh Sdach Area Development

PHNOM PENH, Aug 30 (AKP) - The Union Development Group Co., Ltd. of China is investing approximately US$3.8 billion to develop a resort at Koh Sdach area, located at the Southern corridor in Kiri Sakor district, in Koh Kong province.

Situated on an area of some 3,600 hectares, Koh Sdach will become an eco-tourism resort contributing to attracting more and more foreign tourists to Cambodia, said Mr. Wang Chao of the Union Development Group Co., Ltd.

The investment project will take 25 years and be divided into five steps. Beside the eco-tourism resort, other key infrastructure – an airport, a golf course, a port, and so on – are also part of the development project.

It's sad that the Cambodian government sold the country out to Communist China so the politicians can feed at the trough whilst the vast majority of its citizens live in abstract poverty.

As I have said before, it's like being colonised.

That must be some kind of awsome resort. I am sure for all Cambodians to enjoy.

Wouldn't be surprised, a Chinese company is planning to basically build a community in Nova Scotia aimed and Chinese investors, focus on the parents of University students that attend school there.
