There are no disc brakes on any Wave rear wheel 110 or 125 cc models. Someone will say yes, they are, that is because it is a one-off done by a bike shop somewhere. I have seen one,the conversion was well done . And I have yet to see a new 110 Wave with a drum front brake, may be a couple of years ago, but not now. And as to why secondhand Waves are so expensive nn Thailand s the interest rates when a Thai buys a new Wave or a secondhand one, or any small bike on HP they will be paying up to 30% interest on that loan, so a 125 cc Wave will cost about 60 000 baht cash on hp that will be 78 000 baht, then the cost of getting the log book at the end of the loan, will make it 80 000 baht, and when they sell that bike they what some of that cost back hence the high secondhand price. Wife's granddaughter brought a second Wave a 125cc, paid 63 000 baht, on HP, nice clean bike 1750 baht over 36 months, cash price would have been about 42,000 baht-ish, if your haggling is good, even secondhand Waves are expensive.
