Does anyone have experience of what happens if you dont have enough money to pay a large bill?

My friend is in this position but he hasnt tried to contact the hospital to explain the situation. Instead he is seeking loans which I believe will just get him into more financial trouble.

The hospital is 'Sukhumvit Hospital' at Ekamai.

Please continue in the thread already running, there is no need for duplicate topic on the same issue to be running.
