Navigation light on Pattaya Park Tower

Featured Replies

Have noticed that the red navigation light on top of the tower of Pattaya Park is not working anymore.

Thought it was a safety requirement to have this red light on tall buildings?

The lower condo buildings in the area have these.

A replacement is probably on order...

A replacement is probably on order...

Since the start of the last millennium.

I live right next to the tower and look at it every day. It has been out for 4 or 5 years.

I often wondered if I was the only that noticed the red light had burned out and was not replaced.

What is interesting though, is that they just installed a new set of rotating lights right below the restaurant at the top of the tower.

I look out on 4 towers 3 have lights on but the tallest does not have one that is working, it looks like it is in the grounds of the Department of Civil Aviation complex or very close to the building

I dont think this is policed, until a plane hits one in any case, the tallest structure in Pattaya cant afford a light bulb either so no ones looking

Its policed when they can be bothered, got told to get one up on a radio antenna here...though they were only interested in the radio and the light was an after thought.
