streboris
On another thread about a road accident there's been a lot of mention of Dash Cams. I'm wondering what the legality of dash Cams is in Thailand. I know some countries have them as compulsory now. Some countries give reduced insurance if you have them. While on the other hand, some countries don't accept them as evidence and they are actually illegal in some other countires. Does anyone here have experience of dash cam footage being accepted as evidence in Thailand?
jmccarty
I know the cop at the toll booth on the Bangna - Chonburi bribe stop wanted me to get out of the car and pay him the 1,000 baht behind the car because of my forward facing dash cam. My deduction, if he was on camera and it ended up posted here, he would be in a pickle.
