Garden hose kit

Featured Replies

Hi folks, ,did a search but could not find anything.

Could anyone advise if there is such a place that would sell hose equipment, hozelock, tap connectors, sprinklers etc.

The kind that you can quickly clip off and connect back on when needed ?

Thanks for any advise.

I've seen garden hoses and accessories on display at HOME PRO.

Yup, HomePro is your easiest place for hose and quick-release connectors etc.

"I don't want to know why you can't. I want to know how you can!"

About every major home store has such stuff.

Just different in variety, quality and price.

I have them all through (almost) and still can't say this is the brand to use.

Not tried bloody expensive imported Gardena though.

You have to carefully look for the correct type/size of hose (5/8" instead of 1/2" e.g.).

Tesco and BigC have them also...as does every big box hardware store. I like that new HomePro on Suk. It's huge!

Gardena is rubbish also. Any regular user will have to stock up on replacement connectors and so on.

In this case better forget Gardena, quite expensive.

The hose: to my experience it is not good to buy the reinforced type (hard to squeeze, hard to bend) even if it looks good from the high price.

The couplings/connectors work better with the very soft type of hoses.

But be aware that these hoses suffer from high water pressure in the long run (they "thicken").

Thai Watsadu. Be careful. What they call 1/2 inch is 1/2 inch outside diameter. For 1/2 inch fittings you need 5/8 inch hose.

This all stores, not just Thai Watsadu.
