Well it's been bucketing down for the past two nights/days with hurricane force winds here on bloody Phuket and doesn't look like letting up anytime soon. So what's your point? Thais 'wrong', again?

In Thalang area today, from 08:00 till now 19:47, we have had 97.6mm of rain. Still with howling winds and rain. Looks like it is settled in till the weekend.

In Thalang, the rain has just started up again and is belting down. On a side note, has anyone ever done a Ph check on the rain here? I have and got readings of between 3.5 to 4.2 on three occasions. Pure acid rain my friends. Now we have just hit 100.0 mm of rain in Thalang Phuket.

Live about 12km NNE of Surin. It started raining around 2:30am Tuesday. Very heavy rainfall from 3-7 am with strong winds. Rained steady throughout the day with some heavy downpours. Stopped raining about 3pm. Judging by the water level in our pond and ricefields, approximately 4 inches rainfall. Today the rain started around 4:30am and ended before 1pm. Not as heavy as yesterday. Maybe 1-1/2" total. Sunshine rest of day with nice cool breeze. At 10:45 tonight, it started again with very strong downpour, for about 30 minutes. Right now at steady drizzle.
