Import -Export Thailand

Featured Replies

Hello everyone,

I am Belgian, so sorry for my spelling !

A friend, buisnessman, would like to import small, items, such as ; souvenirs - gadgets - toys ....from Thailand, in order to sell them on the Belgium public markets, so not real big buisness !!!

He does not know how to find wholesalers who are used to do this kind of buisness.

Could someone please help how to find this kind off companies in Thailand or in Belgium ?

Many thanks to all !

I would look at Ali Baba and DHGate

Absolute minefield !!! best of luck.

Dont forget to allow for shipping, import duty and tax as you are buying from outside the EU.

If importing into Belgium you also need to be aware of "import restrictions" certain items made from certain types of materials MUST have the correct paperwork/licence, not be made from from some types of materials or contain certain types of chemicals or paint etc as they will be destroyed on arrival in Belgium.

So the businessman had to ask a friend to post on a forum.

In Bangkok there are wholesale markets for just about anything. It's going to take some research to find them, of course.

OP - Do you think people who have these sort of connections are going to share them? Perhaps you want us to help with selling as well.

Ask any Nigerian on Soi 3 Sukhumvit. They know more than anyone about "Import/Export"

check personal shopper website ???
