Clovis Acosta Fernandes was a Brazilian superfan, who made sure his face was on camera at every World Cup since 1990. Clovis Acosta gave rise to one of the most memorable images from the 2014 World Cup during Germany’s 7-1 win against Brazil, as, clutching his fake World Cup trophy, and with tears in his eyes, he summed up the feelings of an entire nation as the Germans crushed the Selecao on their home soil.
