pension trouble

Has anybody had trouble getting their UK pension this month ? I get most of my pension from Germany but i do receive a small pension from the UK which is paid into my Bangkok bank account every 28 days. The next payment was due on the 7th Sep but didn't arrive. I wrote them an E-mail but they need 10 working days for a reply. I tried ringing them up with my mobile but after hearing please hold the line 100 times the money ran out. I E-mailed my cousin in London who rang up on my behalf but he couldn't get any sense out of them. The next day i tried again and got through, i explained and the woman answering said she would authorize payment it would be there in two days, that was on the 8th, still not there. she mentioned a bank holiday in the states???? at the same time as mumbling,''what's this, oh this computer'' which didn't fill me with confidence. Any ideas ?
