Health warning? what warning there is no health problem what do you want to do scare the tourists away. Heaven forbid.

That's what many of us think. It's very unfortunate as even Thailand has plenty of good people who want to do the correct thing without being politically motivated.

Wouldn't want to be living in Singapore they get that every year as I mentioned before why does the Singapore military spend so much when Indonesia just smoke Singapore for a couple of months and Singapore will surrender without a fight.

^ Yes, I call them " foreigners".

I was in Penang a few days ago and saw a index in one of the papers for the region, while Phuket was having haze it was in the OK range and this recent bout is not as severe.

My stepdaughter is at NTU in Singapore and in contrast to Phuket the university itself has a "haze committee " monitoring levels issuing warnings directives and masks when necessary. Proper organisation. Is there anything Singapore or Malaysia could effectively do to combat this selfish ignorant destructive practice of its neighbours?

You can't blame the Indonesians I heard it is large corporations that run the rubber plantations that are doing it, anyway they have to make a living I mean the people they are not rich like Singapore.
