Air Mouse

Featured Replies

A wireless mouse that can control a computer cursor by being moved through the air, equipped with media features.

Where to find one in Bangkok ? Last time I went to Fortune I looked all over the place and couldn't find one. Same in a couple of other computer malls. Maybe I call it the wrong name. Can you help ?

RF remotes use a small USB "dongle" and communicated via 2.4GHz radio signals.
Most are standard PNP (driveless) HID devices seen as a keyboard + mouse by the computer/HTPC.
Each button on the remote sends keystroke(s) or mouse-clicks to KODI.

To link the buttons on the remote to your desired KODI actions, you will most likely need to customize your keymaps

I actually like the Rii keyboard version.

I'm still searching for an A2 having Thai characters on all its buttons, but such a thing probably does not exist?

I have one of these, but the touchpad is just too small - slow pointer speed and you're swipe, swipe, swiping... fast pointer speed and you have no precision. The wand style ones are better, IMHO.

I bought one yesterday at the shop called iPlus in Fortune. 4th floor.

Edit to add - is not the Rii, but similar.

Thanks, I will go there this morning, will have a look.

By the way I'm looking for screws for a patch panel. I want to add a PoE switch for IP cameras and I realized that the cabinet comes only with only a couple of screws, far from enough. I went yesterday to Laksi, even the shop that sells cabinet don't have them, I hope I will have more chance this morning at Fortune

I'd suggest that you take an example of the screw that you want, and then talk to the shops at Fortune that sell computer components and assemble custom PCs. They usually have jars and jars full of leftover screws, connectors, brackets, hardware etc.

Found it, thanks. And the screws in the specialized shop next door.

And I bought an UPS in the big IT shop, same price as everywhere else but they don't charge me extra to pay by credit card.

A very productive day indeed smile.png

Tip of the day : When you go to Fortune mall, try to park at the end of the car park at the 5th floor. Very convenient when like me you do your grocery shopping at Lotus after browsing the computer shops. The lift next to the cashiers will take you right to your car, you will appreciate it if you have to carry your grocery for the week.
